Okay, that was both seriously funny and scary ...

Scary true... all 512 of my friends agreed.

I know I'm going off topic a bit, but really, when I see how many "friends" some people have, you really have to think about what that really means.

The other thing is, do some people really have that big an ego (or too much time on their hands) to think that their "friends" want to know what they did (in some cases, who they did) 24 hours a day, with pictures, video and text?

I think that FB has some great features and uses, I'm a user myself and this post isn't directed to any soloists as I haven't seen any members FB profiles.

Facebook like any "social media" used correctly can be a huge success for SOME businesses.

Of course not every business owner is going to benefit from connecting on facebook with their clients or customers, but there are many who can.... It's a fine line though and can easily blow up in your face!!!

Personally I don't have much time to hang out on facebook although there's many who do

I started advertising with Facebook last month. I've had 128 clicks so far. No sales from them yet but I'm hopeful. At least I'm raising awareness.

I got a free $100 voucher when I added the "Visa Business Network" application, and I'm still using it.
