I'm one, but I'm busy and not focusing in that field.

I'd suggest you elaborate more on your needs because .Net is quite a large field.

OK, I'm definitely out. I can't design myself out of a bag.

Would you know the best place to look? or know what might be a good way of finding those types of folks?

I heard a person can get a designer to hand over the PSD file and let the coder do the rest(if they can of course)

Does that sound about right?

I'd personally avoid that approach if your website has any moving content (menus) or variations in content (products).

I tend to see static designs look great with fake content, but as soon as a developer has to make it actually function with real content it falls apart.

So try and get as designer that understands how a website works and that the textual content will not be exactly what they designed for.

Front end coding is html/css....Is it for a cms? is it for a static page? is it for a bespoke system?

If you elaborate you might get better answers....try to do so without sounding like a big noob diyer though, sensible developers run a mile from such opportunities due to their unprofitably. So far things don't look so good

As an exception to the rule, sensible developers would be losing out on a lot of profit if they did so. Cant help sounding like a noob if i am one....sigh.

Thanks for that. Im actually taking a pre-existing design and modifying it slightly. So the design works...it just needs more whitespace and better typography.

Its a wordpress template. So im just going to get it up to scratch and then handover files including the PSD. The dev mentioned it should be ok.

I am confused... If it's a wordpress template, why do you ask for .NET developers? Wordpress is PHP based.

Having said that, such people exist - coders (who can do front end back end) who's a good designer as well. I am one. Although I must confess I mainly enjoy the front end side. There is just more money on the back-end side.

Anyway, noticed that you posted requests all over the forum for graphic designer, web designer, ajax website, 1-page site, etc. Here's an idea.. why don't you formulate a more complete requirement, and speak to a few development houses to see if your idea is feasible, and how it should be developed.

If at the end of that process, you still need help, I am sure the forum will be able to help you better.
