Do people use Windows Live?

Has anybody successfully used Windows Live for working together on a project or anything like that. We tried to use it for doing a project together but ended up using email and chat.

Has anybody had more success with it?

Haven't used Windows Live, but maybe you should keep your eyes focused on Google Wave!

I got into the Beta, and it looks like it's going to be a fantastic collaboration tool.

Windows Live is an online collaboration tool where you can save documents, spreadsheets, to do lists, notes etc and share those with other people you trust or work with. Group members can change, mark, annotate etc. and this is visible to all the others in the group.

It is worthwhile having a look at what it is but unless you are disciplined, it is easy to fall back on email, chat and sending documents back and forth. They also offer a thing called SkyDrive where you can save documents, photos etc and other people you have given access to, can then see it.

Windows Live is a bit of a pain for Australian customers, because it doesn't support the use of .com.au domain names- as well as a few others.

Google Apps on the other hand does all of this with relative ease.

I use google docs on sharing spreadsheets. But if you want to broadcast your desktop you can use those softwares that can beam your desktop. You can make a quick search on google about those softwares.
