Thanks for the great feedback.

After all the advice I realised that firstly, I didn't really understand what CRM software was, and secondly that I didn't have a full handle on what I needed.

After doing the homework I've decided not to go with CRM at this time, but to plan for it later. It has opened my eyes to a number of exciting possibilities that I'd like to explore.

Thanks again for your help.

I also see that SugarCRM are running free seminars in Sydney and Melbourne in case you are interested.

Hi guys we also work with Sugar CRM however one thing I am looking at right now is the ability to integrate Sugar with MYOB so we can track revenue by lead source. We use the community version of Sugar and I haven't been able to get anywhere with it as yet. I also haven't found a decent iphone ap for it. There is a bit discussion on their site about it. It also needs a pretty decent server to be able to move around quickly.

Having said that, it is pretty cool and I'd be happy to stick with it if I thought we could work out a solution for the MYOB integration without actually building one.

CRM software may help you a lot, but it's true that you need to think it over very carefully, choose what you need and discard what you don't need, otherwise you can find yourself thinking "geez, I could have done this manually and it would be easier".
