Hmmm, the universe provides as I was just wondering about this issue.

Unfortunately, my phone is in absolutely great nick so I cannot really justify a new phone at this stage. Also, since I'm based at home, the whole 'mobile' concept isn't really an issue at this stage.

On the other hand, I have a very old iPod so I have a feeling I'll be going for the iPhone when and if this little beauty wears out. By then, they'll probably have the iBerry anyway. ;-)

Thanks for all the discussion fellow soloists!

I am pleased to announce, if you're at all interested , that I took ownership of a Blackberry on Friday and spent the weekend playing eagerly with all its features...

So far, very good. Prior to Friday, I was about to get the Storm on Vodaphone but found the full touch screen a bit too weird for my liking, so decided to wait until the Bold came down to fee on a $79 plan and a week and a half later - it did!
