Does anyone have ACTUAL experience using webinar software in Australia?
With all due respect, I'm not seeking theory or sales pitches, I'd value and appreciate learning from people who genuinely used the software, successfully here in Australia.

I am a Mac user, and have reviewed Go-To-Meeting by Citrix.

The need requires the ability to record the webinar to later turn into a product for download from my website.

My concerns with G-T-M so far is the VOIP (I hate that crap) and that I can't record the webinar on Mac; I have to get someone on PC to record it for me.

Other than this, I don't know what questions I need to ask.

I've noticed a lot of people using www.instantteleseminars.com - I've had a look at their webinar solution but haven't used it yet - seems quite good.

Hi Lisa,
That link you provided doesn't want to work.
Message says it is parked for fred Gleek or something similar.

My understanding though is that this is audio only.

I am looking or audio, video, powerpoint and whiteboard within the system.
Go-to-meeting provides this but is not Mac friendly.

they do webinars...some of the bigger internet marketers are using them so I'm assuming they must do the job.

But that is not a webinar it is only a teleseminar.
Webinar is where you have on-screen powerpoint, whiteboard and Q&A during the call.
This is just voice only with Q&A.

I have used a program called Wimba which is hosted in Australia by http://www.netspot.com.au but only from the other side but I understand that it will do what you wish. The program is designed for an e-learning situation.

Have you tried attending or giving seminars in a virtual world? Second Life is easily the most famous but there are others that are better (and easier to use) for business.
