Re: Iphone? Voip? Skype? What's a good way to be contactable on one number from anywh
Hi! I was just wondering if you stuck with this idea and how it worked out for you?
Basically I'm the process of setting up an online business (on a budget!),I would like to use Skype/Skype-in, but I'm aware that a 1300 numbers might be more attractive to clients.
I'm also wondering if there's any option for Voicemail in this?
Thanks! Quote:

I went the skype route with a skypein local number. I'm currently trying it and at the first sign bad quality it's out of here. So far so good, I had a clear conversation with Janna (FletcherTax) yesterday and have called a few support desks already.
I can supposedly have unanswered skypein calls automatically forwarded to my mobile which is not very cheap (30c a minute as far as I can tell), and I'm yet to get this to work. Worst case is someone has to call my mobile.
When I have a 1300 number I can also get this forwarded to the skypein number.
And when I get the Iphone or Ipad of whatever (oh yeah I will) and Skype is on the 3G network (or even before, with wireless), I have a very mobile solution.
As you can see I've amalgamated a lot of your advice, so thanks everyone. | |
