Looking for simple project management tools

Can anyone point me in the direction of tools (online) to help manage multiple projects? I am looking for something suitable for a solo business or small business that will allow me to keep on top of the different projects I have on the go and help me keep my various lists and tasks moving forward so I avoid having things fall off the radar because I forgot to write them down when I thought of them!
Any ideas would be appreciated!

I used basecamp for a while http://basecamphq.com/.

Found it very intuitive and handy.

Only stopped using it as i didn't have enough projects running side by side to justify the $60 odd dollors a months it costs.

zoho.com have a project management tool that will import basecamp projects and they are a lot cheaper. I've used it and it does all the essentials
