New Networking Group - in the Melbourne city area

I have a Coaching business and work with small businesses to improve marketing their business. I am really keen to set up a FREE networking group with other business professionals.
I have attended other networking groups and am eager to take the initiative and form a new group of professionals to meet weekly to discuss general business, networking opportunities and pass on referrals.

My aim is to grow a productive and supportive networking group that can meet up on a regular basis and be proactive in our businesses.

The type of professionals I'm looking for are:

Accountant
Builder
Business Consultant
Cabinet Maker
Car Panel Beating
Car Servicing / Repairs
Computers sales / repairs
Debt Collection
Electrical appliance sales
Electrician
Finance
Financial Management / Planning
Fitness / Personal Trainer
Floor Coverings
Graphic Design
Handy Man
Insurance
Marketing
Mortgage Broker
Photography
Plumber
Printing
Property Investment
Skin Care Clinic
Solicitor
Telecomunications
Used / New car sales
Real Estate Agent
Painter
Building Inspector
Bathroom accessories sales
And anyone else who feels they could benefit from or add value to this group.

I am interested in joining a network group to help each other grow our businesses and provide referrals to each other.

For you information, I am based in Moonee Ponds which is about 5km north of the Melbourne CBD.

Thank you to all those people who replied and are interested in joining a networking group.

I would still be interested in hearing from a few more people - so don't be shy and take your business to the next level by meeting other business owners who you can share ideas with, learn from and possibly give and receive referrals.

Hi Anna,

I'm absolutely interested in joining. I have checked out BNI & think the concept is great - only one type of business can join, commitment of a weekly breakfast meeting and everyone actively referr leads to each other. The downside is it costs about $1000 to join.

Please let me know how I can help to share the load of organising things if you need a hand.

Btw, I'm in graphic design for small-medium size businesses.
