Expressions of interest for VIC meet up groups

Hi all,

There are a few threads running at the moment seeking expressions of interest in getting new meet-up groups off the ground. To make things easier to find, I thought I'd collate them all under one heading per state.

If you're keen to meet up with like minded soloists in one of the following locations, please follow the link and register your interest on the relevant thread.

If your area isn't listed and you're keen to get something started, please do feel free to post details on the forum. We'll try to help you out by posting details of your gatherings on Facebook and twitter.

South-east Melbourne: Mastermind Group in SE Suburbs Glen Waverley and surrounds
North and North-Western Melbourne: Melbourne north & north western suburbs discussion group
Western Melbourne: Western Melbourne Suburbs
Alexandra, Yea, Marysville, Eildon: Alexandra, Eildon Yea, Marysville???
Moonee Valley: Small Business Mastermind Group - Moonee Valley Area
Mornington Peninsula: mornington and surrounds Mornington Peninsula
Geelong: Informal Geelong Network - c'mon we're not THAT small!

There has been some wonderful networking events organised in other states and a bit of a gap here in Melbourne. So I thought I'd throw something out there and get the ball rolling.

Nothing fancy, just casual drinks at a nice pub in South Melbourne. A chance for us to connect some names with some faces and strength our network.

They have a really nice area out the back and some lovely beers on tap and with any luck, the weather will hold out for us!

If this takes off (have noticed the dates in this thread started back in 2009?), I'd also be keen for a network meet in 2011.

I am based in Richmond, so don't mind a little travel around Zone 1 or 2 of Melbourne. =)
