Back in the mid 80's when shopping centres immersed and killed main street shops - I had to think outside the square to survive. I created sample complimentary platters of my menu and knocked on the doors of banks and large corporate. My business exploded. I was fortunate to have a great network of family and friends skilled in the industry who offered their skills for short term employment and training of new staff. When I sold the business it paid for my first house a new car and a fantastic family holiday. The left over money started my next business adventure
