Dry season assistance for WA businesses

Monday 31 January 2011

Assistance is now available to small businesses in Western Australia affected by severe conditions during the 2010 dry season.

The WA State Government has allocated $500 000 in funding to assist small businesses across 100 Shires in receiving subsidised access to professional services. The funding allows eligible businesses to receive vouchers of up to $1 500 to help pay for an accountant, lawyer or financial planner for advice about the future of their business.

If your business has suffered due to ongoing dry conditions in the state and could benefit from the help of a professional, find out if you're eligible by visiting the WA Small Business Development Corporation website.

For further information on disaster relief grants in your state or territory, visit business.gov.au/Recovery or use our Grants & Assistance Finder.
