Small Business Development Conference awards

Thursday 09 September 2010

Each year, staff from Business Enterprise Centres (BECs) along with many other business advisors from around Australia attend the Small Business Development Conference.

business.gov.au is proud to sponsor the Business Enterprise Centres Australia (BECA) Awards for Performance, recognising high achievement in the business advisory sector.

This year's conference is being held in Cairns from 12-15 September and business.gov.au will be providing live reports from the event via our facebook and twitter services.

Become a facebook fan and view event updates, photos, videos and success stories from the business award nominees.

Follow us on Twitter for live updates throughout the event. You can use the hashtag #2010SBDC to join the conversation!

BECs are community-based, not for profit organisations which provide support, guidance and advice for small business intenders and operators. BECs are situated in metropolitan and regional centres throughout Australia and offer a range of services including:

  • workshops and seminars
  • mentoring support
  • business analysis.

Some BECs are funded to provide Small Business Advisory services around Australia.

Search for a BEC in your area in our Government and Business Directory.
