The energy rating standard is a joint initiative of Commonwealth, state and territory government agencies. It sets out mandatory energy rating standards, Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) and labelling requirements for common appliances, to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
If eligible, suppliers of registered products can also list their energy-efficient products on the Energy Allstars website.
