National E-security Awareness Week

Friday 06 June 2008

From the 6-13 June 2008, you have the opportunity to participate in National E-security Awareness Week run by the Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy.

The week is aimed at increasing your business' online security and consists of a number of events being held around the country to help you find ways to protect your business online, such as:

  • installing and updating new computer security software
  • being cautious when providing personal information online
  • using wireless technologies to protect your bandwidth from thieves.

Visit the business.gov.au E-business topic for information and resources on security for your online business activities. For further information on National E-security Awareness Week, see the Stay Smart Online website.
