2008 e-Government Award Winners

High-flyers in e-Government were recently recognised by the Australian Government Information Management Office (AGIMO) at the CeBIT trade fair held last month. The top award, known as the e-Award for Excellence in e-Government, was presented for outstanding e-government service delivery. Congratulations to this year's winner CrimTrac's National Police Reference System (NPRS).

Highly Commended e-Award winners included:

  • Board of Studies NSW - Assessment Resource Centre (ARC)
  • South East Water Limited - Hydroshare
  • The Rockdale City Council - Local SmartForms.

Other finalists recognised included:

  • Board of Studies NSW - Vision Impaired Version of Statewide Online Computing Skills Test
  • Centrelink - Cross Agency Portal Project (DHS My Account)
  • Land Exchange Victoria - Electronic Conveyancing System
  • Medicare Australia - PBS Online
  • Small Business Victoria - Business Victoria.
