Take the dog for a walk; he`ll stare me down until I do.
Would you describe yourself as a technophobe or technophile?
Self-taught technophile.
Who, or what, is your biggest inspiration?
Richard Branson. I had the chance to meet him personally about five years ago at a networking function for the launch of Virgin Money. He stayed for the duration and was happy to have his photo taken and mingle, just being one of the crowd. I think he's the real deal and gets things done.
When meeting someone, would you rather they thought you were charming or mysterious? Why?
Charming. I believe in traditional good manners.
What's the biggest thing you've learnt this year?
That I really can do what I`ve put my mind to - with some help!
What’s your number one stress relief tactic (keep it clean!)?
I`ve been meditating daily for over 30 years - it works.
What’s your favourite film, book and album?
Film: 2001:A Space Odyssey.
Book: Walden by Henry David Thoreau.
Album: Neil Young`s After The Gold Rush.
What’s the smartest bit of marketing you’ve ever done?
Becoming a soloist and being my own brand.
What’s the most obscure business request you’ve ever had?
It was a situation. In a former life I was a natural health therapist practising on the far south coast of NSW. One of my first clients requested a home visit - the property was literally in the middle of the bush; once inside the gate I had to drive about a kilometre to the house over a non-existent road with rabbits jumping in front of the car; it was a real welcome to country life!

Robert Plant/Alison Krauss; Dan Fogelberg; Neil Young.
Do you subscribe to any magazines or newspapers?
Mojo and Sydney Morning Herald.
Do you prefer crosswords, logic puzzles or neither?
Always crosswords.
