You’ve got a free half hour during your work day. What do you do?
When I have free time I read about business and try to learn as much as I can to improve my own business. At the moment I’m reading Flying Solo: how to go it alone in business.
What's the biggest thing you've learnt this year?
I’ve learnt that I need to be patient. Everything takes time, more time than we expect.
What's the best bit of feedback you've ever had?
I really get excited when I get a new customer from a current customer; this is the best feedback a customer could give to us. This is the point when a customer becomes a 'business partner' spreading the word about your business and how good your service is.
What’s your proudest moment?
It’s when you give to the customer the final version and they say: “It couldn’t be better!”
What’s your favourite film?
Oldboy.
What’s the best piece of business advice you’ve ever been given?
Keep moving. Don’t give up on your business!
What website do you visit every day?
I visit my own website www.slidemaster.com.au as I need to update it every day and check that everything is working properly.
What music are you listening to at the moment?
I always have Dave Matthews Band on my iPod.
What book are you reading?
The Wolf of Wall Street by Jordan Belfort on the weekends and Flying Solo's book during the week.
