Good advice given. Your accountant will charge a lot more for general bookkeeping than a bookkeeper will – make sure you find a bookkeeper who belongs to a recognised bookkeeping association, who has good references and who is able to complete your BAS (if you are registered for BAS) under the new BAS regulations that come in on 1st March. It is really important you choose your bookkeeper well – there are many around who are not that experienced which will cost you in the long run.
