I write the words that business want their clients or investors to read, like brochures, web sites, newsletters, annual reports… anything you can think of where a business may need to communicate a message.

It’s a little cumbersome, but often it generates more questions as they think of other things they might use in their own business (“oh.. what about…?”).

One of the other odd things that happens, is people seem to think because you write the words, you can also design, produce and distribute the end product. Having initially considered a career in design (oh, so many years ago!) I’m considering buying some decent software so I can generate print-ready leaflets and brochures for those clients who don’t have a massive marketing budget. Seems like it could be a valuable add-on.
