Our business is a little over a year old and has been pleasantly (and surprisingly!) successful.
I have a background as a web developer, and built the site from scratch. We’ve taken all of our own product photos and colour swatches (with a few exceptions), we’re using Zen Cart as the e-commerce software, eway as a real-time payment gateway (paypal for those without CC’s), and Toll Priority for next-day delivery almost anywhere in Australia.
We also sell to Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, India, The UAE, New Zealand, and a bunch of other countries.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi! Also, im happy to answer any questions (if I can) in relation to web development, plus the ups and downs of running a live web-store.
How are you managing your supplier orders? I’m starting a business and am wondering if there are better ways of keeping track of my POs and INVs. Any software or technology that tracks that kind of stuff and keeps it all in one place? Or is emailing it easy enough? How are you finding it?
