Brand up your invitations and provide a powerful call to action – the more invitations and acceptances you get the more will turn up. It is simply a numbers game.
As you may well have participants in different time zones I recommend including the different start for various states in the invitation. Some people really struggle understanding the impact of daylight savings and time zones.
Follow-up emails can be scheduled to go after the event – these also need a strong CTA.
