Having an emotional connection with your logo is a good thing, people should be proud of their brand and happy to display it. The emotion shouldn’t just stop with the logo designer though, the whole purpose of the logo is to evoke emotion in your potential customers.

If the logo or brand doesn’t make sense to them, converting them into sales will be more difficult.

Your concept can work really well for your business, and your on the right track.

All that happened is you got caught up in the details.

If you tell us your business name, maybe we can show you some quick examples of how adding the business name can make the logo.

Just thinking of it, my logo is exactly like that, without the words ‘IT Advocate’, my logo doesn’t mean anything.
