Hi Wendy,
Is this you, http://www.mensformal.com.au?

Why is the content published on it instead of on http://www.executiveaccessories.com.au?

First comes the content on your primary site, then comes the link building.

If the pages were published with SEO implemented on http://www.executiveaccessories.com.au they should provide greater benefit than the few links you are worried about cancelling.

A question or two on a forum like this cannot possibly give you anything other than the most general information, particularly when we find there are elements like another website floating around in the equation. I think I also see some publishing on magazine sites. Are there any more factors?

Stop worrying about links.

Read this: “Google Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide” (http://static.googleusercontent.com/external_content/untrusted_dlcp/www.google.com/en//webmasters/docs/search-engine-optimization-starter-guide.pdf)

In a 30 page document, this is Google’s top SE ranking tip: “Creating compelling and useful content (on your own site) will likely influence your website more than any of the other factors discussed here”

Regs,
JohnW
