At the moment with my business, I do all the telemarketing myself. I think that being a small business owner our major advantage over bigger competitors is that the person they speak to on the phone really knows what they are talking about. Can you get that with telemarketing? Possibly but is the risk worth it?

I am sure I am not the only one who has been on the phone with their mobile phone company or printing company arguing over a bill or some misplaced delivery and found that they are talking to some call centre that can do nothing but take down your details and pass them on.
