80% abandon at the checkout . you can save about 20% of them by:

1. getting the contact details before allowing them to check out (complete other details) and then send them emails asking what went wrong or offer them something special and just add them to your list for next time.

2. pop ups when they close the window offering one time offers to buy now.

Sometimes the form is too ugly and unfriendly. You really need to test this. Think of it as your check out counter at the local convenience store.

selling online is 10x harder than selling offline. So many reasons for the customers to talk themselves out of a sale and you are nowhere near to address the issues and objections.
