Hi Kris.

Rather than providing name suggestions, I’ll provide some considerations. I’m going through the same process for a new product I’m launching soon!

Has your friend registered a business name yet? If so, this may help to decide on the domain name.

If not, she may need to do so before registering the domain (assuming she is looking for a .au domain name).

Tools such as http://thesaurus.com/ can help if the preferred name is already taken.

It’s also a good idea to check Business and Trademark registers to make sure she’s not treading on anyone’s turf:

Almost anything can work with the right marketing but as you suggest, short is generally better than long. Try to avoid tricky spelling as it can make it harder for people to find (eg gr8 could be confused with great and grate resulting in people entering the wrong address).
