You must be very sleepy and bug-eyed this morning 😮

Putting on my naturopath’s hat for a moment… there are lots of effective herbal medicines for insomnia available at your health food store or pharmacy. Good ingredients to look for are lemon balm, valerian, hops and/or passionflower. You’ll usually find 2-3 of those in a combination.

Lemon balm sounds particularly appropriate for the situation you describe, as it has traditionally been used to help with over-excitability.
