I guess you can meet in the middle and do a “from” amount. That’s usually enough to satisfy the people that need to know the price and opens the door to bigger more custom projects.
Having a price indicator, especially for businesses that are starting up and small businesses is always good because these type of businesses are very budget conscious. I personally get turned off by websites that don’t unless their portfolio is amazing.
