Are you sure because you then say:

“I’ll let our procurement team know about you” .

Seems the decision makers are the procurement team. You need to talk to them, find out their processes for ordering/putting out tenders/requests etc.

Your next move perhaps should be to talk to them with the line “[name] in management has approved us to deal with you….”

Then followup on any inconsistencies/registration processes etc with them and before you know it, you have a relationship.
