As I said, hardly anything new brought up in this thread, mostly well known and not uncommon business practices.

The 80/20 rule (the Pareto principle) is well and good, but it’s statistical observation and basically a rule of thumb.

It’s certainly not a reason to fire 1 in 5 on a regular basis or cull your customer base, and that’s the suggestion I’ve been challenging.

If your worst customers are still profitable, why get rid of them? If your worst staff are doing a decent job, why fire them?
