My company runs a commission rebate program – Any referral partner who refers a client which results in a loan written will receive a portion of the commission, which is generally 20%.
Always expanding the network, it is very lucrative for gaining more clients and provides a secondary income for our referral partners.
Also there are cases where you receive multiple clients from another client through informal referrals. I’ll generally send a thank you gift (say for a couple, Gold class tickets to the movies) to show my appreciation.
