What conflict? Who is conflicted? By What?

I can’t understand that at all, the online marketing guy aims to get clients ranking on Google whether its agreed to do so via SEO or AdWords or both.

What if the client wants both paid and organic listings? Your friend says “no I’ll only do one of those methods because I feel conflicted in trying to get both” ?
