Wow – well done on sending out a newsletter to your clients and asking for their feedback. The fact that they have emailed you back their responses is even better. It gives you something to work with.
I truly hope that you are able to work with the landlord to stay open. Maybe you can negotiate with them, whilst you work on turning things around. Not knowing your location, I’m sure they would prefer a tenant than having to find another one.
Maybe you could reward the diners who responded and invite them to come in. Treat them as your number 1 customers, as I’m sure you do, and turn them into your ambassadors, word of mouth!
One of the restaurants, I worked in offered a glass of sparkling wine as a thank you on arrival – always makes you feel special!
