True that you can impose penalties as have been prescribed above. But also consider the impact of them on your clients, how would you feel if you were hit with cancellation fee’s or having to wait 3 or 4 weeks for another appointment. Maybe I would be going else where.

Also consider if for some reason you need to cancel a day because of illness or something, how will the client feel if the week before you hit them with a cancellation fee, and now you are cancelling on them (it happens to us all).

Clients would be fully aware of the penalties in place if they didn’t comply with the rules, and if they kicked up a stink about it, then I think they wouldn’t be the type of client you would want to associate with on a regular basis.
