True that you can impose penalties as have been prescribed above. But also consider the impact of them on your clients, how would you feel if you were hit with cancellation fee’s or having to wait 3 or 4 weeks for another appointment. Maybe I would be going else where.

True there needs to be a balance.

But is it not better to have a well explained policy in place where you can make exceptions, as opposed to no policy where everyone does as they please.

What I am finding more and more is a tendency not to give a rats unless there is some type of incentive/disincentive.

And if they are habitual, better they are causing grief to your competitors.
