Great topic and article.

It’s so true that if you just learn to control your breath when you are feeling anxious it pretty much “cures” your anxiety.

Another exercise that helps is of course meditation. Many people think of meditation as a spiritual thing, which for many people it is, but i learnt to look at it as a will power exercise. You sit down in a comfortable position and focus on your breath and any time your mind drifts away to think about other stuff, you gently refocus on your breath. This helps you generally relax more, which then makes your anxiety much easier to handle.
