I’ve had this discussion a few times with a small business owner I do some consultancy work for. He thinks business cards are already a thing of the past and that a digital business card by way of an email signature are more relevant.
I’m interested in what everyone else thinks on this.
I still hand out business cards for my real job and for my other activities.
If you meet a new client face to face it is a little hard to hand them an email signature, so one or the other (or both) have to scribble an email address on a scrap bit or paper (or a business card), to be able to send an email signature.
