Completely agree – the value-add from your lawyer/accountant is explaining and answering the myriad of questions you will no doubt have – separately they should be able to advise on WHY this structure is ideal for your specific circumstances compared to other structures. Around the $2k mark is reasonable given the time and stamp duty, ASIC fees, etc. involved, although as noted above – those that know what they’re doing can get away with setting it up for less.
