My best and cheapest marketing tip which has led to my best growth, would always be get to a point where your business relies on true word of mouth referrals, what I mean by real, is a lot of business’s believe word of mouth can be achieved by offering the client a discount or some other incentive to refer new clients. To me that’s not true word of mouth.

To me word of mouth is when the client refers you to friends, neighbours, relatives, associates, Fred Bear, etc. not for any benefit on their part. But when they refer you because you offer a great service and they are happy to provide your business details based on that.

I went from something like 50% of my new business coming from flyers to now about 80 to 90% of new business coming from word of mouth. It’s 100% free in my opinion, and brings in the highest quality clients as well.
