I think motivation plays an important role, too. Not many mention motivation. Procrastination is a symptom of a lack of motivation. By trying to look for the added value you’ll get by getting the job done, you’ll get better at finding motivation. That way, it won’t seem such a big hill to climb. You might even enjoy it. You also might just stumble onto something better. Brute force provides nothing better. You don’t need to be a brain expert for that. Don’t get burned out.
