Hi Lyn,

Firstly congratulations on getting an idea to product stage.

If you are planning on being the wholesaler not the retailer, I suggest you speak to some of the potential retailers to test what they believe would be a good price for the product.

Also without knowing what your product is it’s hard to say what the market will pay.

For example a consumable product would need a lower price point, whereas a durable product can have a higher price.

Start as you have with your COG. (Include everything, insurances, branding, marketing etc)

Is there a similar product in the global market, that can compare (obviously with the correct exchange rate).

Is your product high end or lower end mass produced etc this will help establish your target market.

Knowing your target market will help set the price.
