I imagine costing out would be a nightmare if you had three or four high priced milk alternatives sitting in your fridge waiting for the next quinoa drinker. And of course fusspots are generally fussy about dietary restrictions in their food as well. It’s all very time consuming and can throw a spanner in the works at busy lunch. I wouldn’t cater to them either.
In regard to how to respond, just let it role off your back and turn it back on your customers. I’d say business is great, we’re blessed to have such loyal clientale but if you are worried about us eat here more.
