If you came to introduce yourself and give me your card/flyer and let me know you’re new to the area, that would be great.

Acknowledging that we’re just meeting for the first time would mean: 1) Making it brief; 2) Realising it’s too soon to ask me for business. If you want to start a relationship with the people in your area, best not to show up with your hand out. Even better, bring a small gift. What about one of those plug in air fresheners that will make their office smell nice for a month. Now you become a welcome guest instead of an unwanted pest. :)
