But, in your situation I would question if the 2 business’s really offer compatible services, sure you can install the financial software, my suspicion would be that only a small portion of your work would come from that side, and as such people landing at your front door would be a little confused by what you are really offering.

I would set it up as 2 different fronts, but refer work to each other if on the odd occasions there was compatibility.

Agreed.

If you fundamentally want to operate as two separate businesses (separate profits) then it may be best to just present it as such. Otherwise it raises uncertainty in the customer / clients mind which is never a good thing.
