For each possible partner you need to be thinking “What can I do for them?” rather than “How can I get referrals?”.
Maybe you’ll end up making a montage of interviews for the retirement home Christmas party, or recording a bunch of recollections for ANZAC day down at the RSL club.
When you stumble across a service or niche that people/organisations actually do need, it will be an opportunity to align your business to the demand.
