I will ask a few questions before prescribing a solution:
1) Given that SEO is a long term game, are you sure you have to worry about it at this stage?
2) Do you have everything else sorted: product/service tested, unique selling proposition, etc?
If not, the best answer might be just keep what you have now and focus on other aspects of the business…
If it’s absolutely critical though for driving traffic and you depend on it then of course it becomes your #1 priority provided that you have tested it and your current look and feel truly hurts your rankings, traffic, etc.
