I’m sorry to hear you lost your gig, especially at this time of year when we all need money.

In my experience, 10-15% of former users come back and use my service again so it is not a high number.

As a glass half full person, I typically think in terms of, “It was good while it lasted” and, “Losing good customers is part of doing business”.

This helps me to stay positive and seek out new opportunities instead of hiding under the doona with a family block!

At the same time, I review the situation with a very critical eye stripping away all of the emotion (to the extent that is possible) and examine if anything at all could have been done better.

This process helps me to identify mistakes if there were any made, avoid them in future and to move on.

I hope you can re-gain your lost ground.
