Hi all,
I am currently facing 2 issues with a website (WordPress) I’m putting together and I’m out of answers.
1. I created a glossary. The permalink looks fine, the terms show as published and all show nicely on the main glossary page but when I then click on a term to see the description, the new page for the description gives me an 404 error saying that the page does not exist. Again, I checked the permalink for the term and it looks fine so I can’t work out why it’s not working. Any suggestions?
2. I have several pages on my website and the footer should by rights look identical on every single page but on one page it looks different. Note, I have a PayPal payment image in the footer (using widgets) and on all pages it shows in the right size but on one other page that image in the footer is gigantic. There doesn’t seem to be an option to change the footer on one particular page. I just can’t work it out. If someone has a suggestion, I’d love to know as I’m out of answers.
Note: it’s not the website below in my signature, happy to provide the link via PM.
Thanks so much in advance..
Warmest regards,

Issue number 2 could well depend on your theme. Are you using a different page template for that particular page?
July 10, 2015 at 3:25 am #1185402Up::0Hi Ben, Yes, I’m using a plugin for the glossary. The issue seems to now have disappeared by itself overnight. I took a screenshot of the error message 2 days ago and now it seems to be working.
With regards to issue 2, it’s my main product page where the issue occurs and given that this page set up is different to all my other pages, I assume I can answer this question with a yes.
Warmest regards,

great to hear issue one solved itself, i love it when that happens! Haha!
issue 2 is probably just a CSS fix. I can take a look at it if you like.
July 10, 2015 at 3:38 am #1185404Up::0Hi Ben,
There is a section in the footer set up where I can upload a credit card icon sprite. The one that came with the theme didn’t have the right icons so I created my own. Then I uploaded this in the section, it was way too tiny and not legible. I then used a text widget for the image and it works fine on all pages except the product page.
I don’t want to change anything in the CSS if it can be avoided.
Warmest regards,
Mel -
