    Hi soloists,

I’m looking to buy a 4 in 1 MFC printer. It will be mainly used as a printer but I will use the other capabilities from time to time. I’m leaning towards an efax service so the fax part would be used the least. Most of my printing will be on letterhead so hi res colour isn’t really an issue.

Who recommends what and why? Also because of the efax service do any of your MFC’s have a scan to PDF button?

I currently have a quote for a Samsung CLX-3175N and a Lexmark Prospect Pro205 wireless.

    Happy Friday everyone.

I have an Epson Stylus TX810FW with a Rihac continuous flow ink system – I swear by it.

I’ve actually recommended it to a couple other people who ended up buying it and love it just as much. The print quality is phenomenal, overall it’s fast, it’s stylish, and has an ADF tray for scanning (a must in my eyes!).

It does have a largish footprint though, although most 4 in 1’s do.

Highly highly recommend, best printer I’ve ever owned.

    Thanks for your advice, Chris.

So I’m assuming is has the scan to PDF button?

Make sure you get the Rihac CISS though, they’re so efficient.

$15 of ink is like buying 7 individual cartridges.

I just bought an EPSOM TX510FN
    SO far SO good

    It replaced my Lexmark X4270

The problem (Well the main problem) with the lexmark is the ink cartages are expensive (the contain the ink head so I’m told)
By the time you but Cartridges its all most cheaper to buy a new Printer
